


We spend most of our time observing a strategic map divided into hexes (hexagons - this is a change from the original game, which used a map with a grid of squares superimposed on it) and making decisions on unit movements. We do this by using magic and controlled armies. Then our main task is to take control of two parallel worlds - Arcanus and Myrror. We start the game by choosing a mage - we have a dozen different characters at our disposal. Master of Magic is a classic 4X strategy game. The original title was developed by SimTex, while the Polish company MuHa Games is responsible for creating the refreshed version. The remake introduces major changes in the visuals and some improvements in the gameplay layer. In this production we play the role of a powerful mage, who heads an army full of fantastic creatures. World save/grow scripts work only on instant-cast spells (i.e. "Grow skill" and "Save mana" (or vice versa) in same section combine no problemo. Grow and save are mutually exclusive ("grow mana" won't activate if you have "save mana" already activated in same group, and vice versa). Save mana/skill: mana or casting skill are not expended on cast.
